It looks like a shiner version of Mii's.

If Sony ever makes something original, you can be sure the end of the world isn't too far behind

While the idea of creating a personalized character has been done already with the miis, this is something very different. It is a kind of chat-room per se. I'd like to see something like this come to the 360. I know it would be huge on a platform such as XBOX live.
