I was originally gonna make a Snesp but then i wanted to make a N64p, but because of all the broken N64's people have to deal with, ive decided to change back to a Snesp.
I did have have a snes and i opened it up, but then it got droped on the floor by someone
Heres what ill be needing:
Snes Snes game Snes controller Lcd screen Sandpaper Bondo Soldering iron De-soldering pump Battery's/pack Audio?
I think thats all.
This is my first project and i am only thirteen, so if any of you can help please do, thankyou
If it's your absolute first project, start with something much simpler, like making a flashing LED from some batteries an led or two and a timer.
If you absolutely MUST make a portable, may I suggest a NES portable with a NOAC? They're cheaper then SNES's and easier to find, because you WILL be breaking at least one.
But if you feel you want to make a SNESp, here's where to find things:
Snes (get a mini): Ebay
Snes game: Amity Store, garage sale, or if you must, Ebay.
Snes controller: See above.
Lcd screen: Ebay, from a pocket tv (3-4") or an official 5" PSOne screen (also called zenith). For a SNESp, A 4" would work fine.
Sandpaper
Bondo - It's ben posted numerous times in the case construction forum ,probably in the sticky, and I don't remember.
Soldering iron - Radioshack, or if you must get a better one, see the post in Tech Q&A.
De-soldering pump - Same as above.
Battery's/pack - Depends on the chemistry you want, and ultimately affects your case design significantly. Go for a Ni-MH (Radioshack) R/C pack, or a lithium-ion pack (EBay, or batteryspace.com)
Audio?
