WTB: Dremel Cutting Attachment (How much ghetto can I go)

Well, I'm probably being pretty pathetic here, but I got a keen idea here. I can't afford a dremel right now, and I got some Plexi I gotta cut. I was thinking that I can just buy the cutting attachment to cut plastic and put that on my drill. Lame, I know, but is a dremel not just a rotary tool and is a drill not a rotary tool? Ok...so can I hear a price...and possibly a pic

Well...um...

If the dremel bit isn't the right shape on the outside of the conneccting part, you could make this a VERY dangerous idea...

. I had one of those crap Roto-Matic things (that wannabee dremel) and one of the bits fit, so I assu-...yea...I think you get it. Maybe I should rephrase the title. WTB: Some sort of plastic that is good to cut with and Exacto Knife

. Now it's that or save up/sell an organ to buy a dremel

Dremels can be very cheap AND come with the bits you need - like $10!

Or you can buy rotary bits made for drills...I don't know, but I have a few.

Ya but arnt those off brand, at Target while looking around I saw Official Dremels there for like 30 bucks for the Cheapest one.

if you just want a cutoff wheel, they make them for drills. Also,a dremel is a high speed rotary tool. It spins at about 35,000RPM for the wall power ones. The fastest drill you can find only runs at no more than 4,800 RPM. Also, this could be dangeous, so show me some pics if you get it to work

I can't imagine using a cutting attachment on a drill... drills are just too big and clunky, and they aren't shaped the same way as a dremel. Just check out Walmart, I've seen a few there for $15 - $20 that come with 50 accessories or something. It doesn't have to be made by Dremel, mine is made by Black n Decker and works fine even after being abused for 1+ years.
