Where to find screens cheap?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

No because no working screen is worth that little. Ebay all the way.

Ebay. I paid $38 shipped for a PSone screen and PSone, had to get a $25 power adapter to use it, but its a multi-voltage so I can use it for other stuff.

I bought 2 Audiovox D1500A's on ebay for $30 and $40 after shipping. (It can't be a D1500B, no input) The screen on them is identical to the EX50.

I have put composite into it, unsure about other inputs working if you need them.

Probably the same as us, ebay or sales at Walmart/Radio Shack etc.

Bestbuy used to have them for almost nothing, I picked one up for $10: it was a return with a broken backlight, I LED-modded the crap out of it. Other than that, ebay using different combinations of words, e.g. "Gamecube LCD", "Gamecube Screen," "XBOX LCD," etc. Also those portable VCR's are pretty cheap now, they usually have decent LCD's.

There are also the Intec brand controler/screen all in one units. I've never used one, though, so I don't know how those would work out.
