Inverting right stick x-axis on 360 controller...
I have searched everywhere and not found a solution...Can anyone tell me how to rewire the xbox 360 controller to invert the x-axis of the right thumb stick? I know the basics of what needs to be done, but don't want to ruin a $40 controller. I would be so happy to finally be able to play Crackdown and Gears without dying every five seconds because, in the heat of battle, I look the wrong way.

I know a lot about joysticks through personal endeavors. The way it should work is reversing two contacts on each of the two pots permanently.
Should the invert need to be stopped, when I make the diagram do you want me to make a switch in it?

I know the drawing is crude, but you basically want to switch around ground and voltage (+5v). You must make sure you cut the traces leading to those pins (ground and voltage) before switching them, or else you'll short some stuff out, bye-bye controller. Let me know if anything is unclear!
