Xbox a/v problem

Post by Mikeyman64 »

I don't know if any of y'all would care to help, I just seem to get better responses about Xbox1 questions here than anywhere else.

I'm currently working on an Xbox (just got it today) that doesn't out put audio or video. I turn it on, light is solid green (and stays that way). But I get no a/v signal whatsoever. I've even tried two different M$ brand a/v cables, both to no avail.

It's a V1.4.

The guy who owns it never even though about opening it up. I had to break the seals. He said he was playing it one day, turned it off, and a couple of days later, this started happening.

Any suggestions?

Edit: The disc tray doesn't open either.

Could be a corrupt TSOP.

Install a modchip and everything should work again.
