Hello Portable people

Just wanted to pop by to say thanks to Ben for posting the original "how to" that caused me to spend 3 months modding my psp. So . . . yeah thanks for that.

Any way for those that havent seen it or have no clue who I am or what I am babbling about, heres some links an a pic.

yo man! i saw this on engadget the other day and imeadiatly thought "this guy is almost certianly going to join benheck at some point" lol. nice of you to join us! that mod looks awesome!

Sweet job.
I noticed on the video that you were using the right analog instead of X, O, etc., is there any advantage to the dual analog or is it just cool?

Actualy I.ve been meaning to join up for a year or so. Nice to finaly be here.

Yeah the right stick works really well. I've changed it since the video as it wasnt responsive enough. But now it almost feels the same as using a real analoge stick. Its actually the same srt up on a wii nunchuck. It looks like an analoge stick but its actually digital.

Off topic. Can I set up topic notification email some how? I am not to good at remembering to check threads.

might be settings you can change in your user profile but i dont remember exactly if you can or not.

Thanks man.

I think with the right stick I should probably point out that there a quite a few fps's that use those buttons as the camera (like goldeneye on the N64 did) So thats what I actually did it for.

I'll do my best to hang around. I am an admin on another forum so I am kept quite busy over there.

Other things that have done that you may have seen. . .

ipod nes (that was on hackaday/engadget a few weeks back)

Very nice mod! Yes, hacking the 4 buttons into an analog stick is a good idea.

It's email, at least on all forums I've tried.
