i need help badly this is my third super joy boy that iv bought and i tested it every so often and right after i tried to rip of the cart slot the damn thing doesnt work :cry: :cry:
it just shows a green screen
please help :cry: :cry:

How did you remove it. You didn't litteraly rip it off right? Right?

well the solder on the pins was really messed up so i desoldered as much as i could i began to rip off the cart pin by pin and after i ripped off like 10 pins i went to test it and it came up green

You might have damaged traces near the cart slot with that.

what can i do?
there was no other way to get the cart off

well look for damaged traces. You might be able to "jump" them.

ya. scrape abit of green of the trace so you see the coper solder on that.

why would the cart slot traces being disconnected cause it to not work i thought you dont need the cart slot for it to work?

I said traces AROUND the cart slot. :wink: and you never know about that cart slot t hing. Maybe one simple ground trace connected trough it. You don't know.

Ya. unless you find the broken trace. But for all I know static could've just fried it.
