I am makin a sega portable and i need a simple thing to make more like in a square laptop (nothin fancy) and i need a simple materal that i can use that doesent require a lot of work and looks halfway desent when painted.
Heres what i have and good at
Saw
Dremel
Hot glue
welder (no no dont say this because it dont work)

CNC seems to be pretty easy if you're good with the pen tool in Illustrator, because it doesn't take much hard physical work, and its probably very suitable for a laptop style design. Have you read Ben's guides on Engadget?

you go and use one at a shop you dont want to buy one. most engraving places will have one.

It's not that easy, they usually charge you for it, like 60 bucks an hour, and...yea.
