Techno

Post by Shadeslayer »

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone here likes techno? I make my own techno music when I get really bored with Fruity Loops Studio 6. Does anyone else make techno music?

Used to be big into techno. Mostly moved on to things like alt-rock.

Techno owns. I am listening to Armin van Buuren - A State of Trance 286.

That depends on what you consider techno. I've seen industrial, dance, electronica, rave, new wave, EBM, J-pop, K-pop, Europop and others all labeled under the broader techno genre. Rock/metal have similar problems. I personally just list bands. I find it a lot easier, especially because I don't have to try (possibly unsuccessfully) to classify them. :P

I listen to these bands that could be classified as "techno" (some more often than others):

:Wumpscut:
Assemblage 23
The Chemical Brothers
Leæther Strip
Mindless Self Indulgence
The Prodigy
Velvet Acid Christ
VNV Nation

I'm always open to suggestions for good music to buy.
