Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Post by Thegamer3000 »

My third N64 can do RGB...Yay :D

Do i just hook up R, G, B, and ground and give it or go or is there something else I need to do?

You need composite sync (C-sync) too. You can connect the Luma line on the n64 to the csync line in the PSone lcd.

Is there something else I need to do because i seem to be getting a dim picture. Kinda like S-Video with just the Luma (or is it Chroms?) connected.

I have my RGB lines connected directly to the chip and I think I seen somewhere that you need some kind of capacitor or something on each line.

Make sure it's (ground? Grounded? Grount?) properly. I've seen that happen on RGB w/o ground.

If you're getting a dim picture, it's because the N64 rgb lines need to be amplified. Google "n64 rgb amp"

Try using a 220uf capacitor on each line. This should help fix the picture

make sure to have the + side toward the system and the - side toward the monitor
