I am going to make a custom livecd, cause many have some stuff and not others. I have just seen how to do it. And then I can sell it on ebay. DNOPPIX. That sounds nice.
you can't install Linux? All you need to do is burn the .iso (burn from an image, don't just burn the iso file. If you see more than one file when done burning you're ok.) and reboot the computer. It boots from the cd and installs.

Or you can just make a boot floppy or boot cd for the distro and install directly from the iso image on your hdd

what about the drive formatting, most linux distros format the hdd before they install any packages, tat way only works of you have two hdd's, a hda and an hdb with the iso.

Well to avoid the problem of linux formating a hard drive I preformated mine. All linux did when I installed it was partion the drive. I think its best to format the hard drive before installing any OS.

I recently found out that SuSE 9.2 Professional is available for download, and I was thinking about buying it, but when I saw it for download I started it. I'm 67% done with a 2.097GB file, going 157KB/s. I must have been fortunate to have a good conection, I don't normally get that fast. Well, now's a good time to do it, as I haven't downloaded anything this big before.
Wow, I guess im lucky. Im getting a steady 344 KB/sec. But I have a cable modem, so that explains the fast speed.
Sorry to qoute myself and all, but I was downloading the ISO and check this out!

Check out the speed on SUSE-LINUX-mini-installation.iso!
