Well , as the book said , I hooked up the NES to batteries before proceeding into the actual project, But I am having massive problems with it.
I attached the 7805 regulator to the board where the RF box used to be then I soldered the middle lead of the regulator to the metal on the NES board, then I connected the upper lead to the +5 in spot as it said. I connected the positive end of my battery to the switch then connected the other end to the unregulated power in.
Now , when I turn this beast on i get a small spark and the batteries get extremely hot. So , I checked they were all in the right way and as a precaution I added new batteries, yet it did the same thing.
Anyone else experience this problem before? If so how can I resolve it.
