gp2x issues

Post by ATOMICMAN »

so far ive been using mine mostly for snes and mame emulation, homebrew, and music/media. all of that works great.

ive been trying for the last day or so to get my other emulators to work but for one my nes one kinda works (ive only gotten one rom to work but it locked up like 2 min into it) every other rom i try ends up corrupting my whole nes rom folder and i have to reformat my sd card to clear it. do i have bad roms or is the emulator just bad?

my lynx emulator doesnt run really the background shows up but the text gets all crazy, again bad emulator?

my genesis emulator wont even start up...

is there something im missing? ive followed the readmes but nothing seems to help...

DrMD is ridden with boot issues, not to mention it only supports Genesis and MD emulation. Download the latest version of PicoDrive instead, it's a much better emulator, full-speed, uses both processors, and has support for Sega CD iso's and bin's. I had the exact same issue with DrMD, and as soon as I switched to PicoDrive, I had no issues at all. Have fun with your GP2x, it's definitely an amazing device!
