Deciding on GC battery -or- Help me choose!

Ok folks, this is a pretty easy one. I need to power a GC, and I have two choices. First,

is the Intec Mobile Power Battery GC whatever. It's familiar, and powers the gamecube no matter what. However, I don't know much about it's Mah or Reliability, but It would be nice to have a gamecube that charges from it's original cord.

Second,
The "Portable 12V li-ion rechable security camera thing."
It's more industrial looking that the "100 dollars at gamestop" thing, and just looks like it would be better in the field, but I know nothing about it, other than it's got this wierd one outlet.

your going to get barely a solid hour on anything less than 2000 ma. dont go with the second choice. cant say i like the first choice either though

12v, 5Ah means a good couple of hours depending on your setup, and comes with the smart charger. its just a little expensive for what i want to spend..

i got a spare 14.4v laptop battery that fits a laptop i have for only $20. i already tested the current output and the one i have works to run my GC and the screen i want to use and it gives me a spare for the laptop. the only drawback is charging it in the laptop, or figuring out how to build a charger for the gc..

that was the first one i looked at. the price is reasonable, but i would think about maybe going higher than 3.5Ah. it may be enough to run an hour and a half or so. you just dont want to get stuck wishing you hadn't cheaped out on running time..

But has anyone found anything like this, but not so thick? Like, AA style?

you get some more Ah out of that set, but those A cells are going to limit your current draw. i think you can run a GCp under 2 amps though..

it looks like a gc/ps1 screen combo runs at 1.9A according to Gamelver so that pack should work:
