Hi. I'm currently building a mini amp for headphones that can be used on almost anything without headphones. Right now i have only a demo board built, well, all i could get done tongiht anyway. Here's a linkt o a pic...

Notice the abscence of a volume knob and all that? Yeah, i need the pinout for a basic CD player volume knob so i can hook it up tot he amp for volume control. Also notice there's two IC... Each IC only amps one channel (left) for example... This thing will me sweet! I even added a little power LED... Why not? Any help would be apreciated. Maybe i forgot something important? One more thing. The spec sheet say i can link Gain 1 with Gain 8 via a resistor and capacitor to double the output, BUT, i do not know what resistor value I should use! the spec sheet said a 10 microfarad capacitor is needed, but nothin on a resistor! Right now it is just a 100Ohm resistor. Too much!? Thank you!

I forgot, i cleaned out my whole closet, along with all 3 of my broken portable CD players... I have no volume knob to use!!! Dang it! Radioshack doesn't have those small kinds of volume knobs... I accidently bought a different pot. Well, anyway, i semi-finished. its far enought o do tests, and it works!!! Heres a linkt ot he newest prototype pic..
