Ok Nintendo, Mii and you have a Wii problem

Ok nintendo is really starting to piss me off

Them and their Damed Marketing stratagy is really pissing me off, only shipping like 2 or 3 Wiis to Big stores across the country when they are fully capable of Shipping al least 10-25 Wiis to major stores acrossed the Country (United States BTW for you Europeans) Nation availability for a Wii right now on Itrakr.com is a measly 4% and the Wii has been out for MONTHS.

I don't beleive that they arnt producing enough, and I don't beleave they are running out of room to store them till they are shipped, they are just doing a F*en half-witted Marketing stratagy that is selling more xbox 360s than Wiis, because people are getting so damned tired of waiting to get a Wii they go ahead and buy a 360

The only people that seem to be snatching up Wiis are the Ebay fagets and people just stumble into the store when they just got a shipment ans say "Oh this looks nice!" or "Did'nt Billy want one of those?" and they snatch it up.

It seems like people either with no lives, or that love to wait in the bitter cold in front of a store for people to stare and and say they are crazy, or are just so damned luckly/ or have cash flowing out of their pockets to buy them off Auction sites(Ebay/Amazon), are the only ones that seem to be able to get them.

Hell I had a better chance of getting a Wii on Release day then now.

OK just thought I'de get that off my chest, so I'm done with my rant now

grow up this is the big world of marketing, and BTW everyone is so baffeled why I have a Wii, I went down to gamestop, made a decent relationship with the guys behind the counter, and they hooked me up by telling me when they started taking pre-orders, get over it the only reason you don't have one is your fault

I'm not mad at them I'm just saying they are just freakishly luckly to find one, if they ever because I F*en Ebay entrepenures (I spelled that wrong) In a 40 mile raduis around my home town, there are over 47 Ebay auctions for wii, and probably another 50 people selling em on Amazon.

No not really I have a Life, I go to school, I study, I have no car or ride to take me where ever and whenever I want, I have no time to guess when they are getting shipments and calling 20 plus stores a day just to get the same answer.

If nintendo chooses to take it easy and get lesser units to stores as a marketing strategy that's their right. You can't be mad at them for trying to make more people buy it.

I didn't call, I visted when they announced PS3 pre-orders and I though hey the Wii comes out ONE DAY afterwards and they could TELL ME WHEN and BTW the PS3 announcements were on friking FOX NEWS!

And I am taking 17 hrs. of a demanding college work-lod and holding down Two yes two jobs! I haven't really played my wii enough to count for anything! Hows that for a life!

Now I am going to refuse to post anymore since this is considered flaming and I don't feel like getting in trouble!

No I am not sayin' that, Im just saying somethings come up and I wasnt able to camp, and the thing accually involved life which prevented me from getting a Wii by camping.

this is a stupid thread, recent numbers show that the wii is outselling both xbox360 and ps3. its all about supply and demand, there is MASSIVE demand for the wii and a limited supply. i HIGHLY doubt that nintendo is holding back wiis. its a plain fact that more wiis are going to go to more populated areas (california new york etc) and that more rural places and smaller cities are going to get less wiis. i highly doubt this is a marketing stratagy at all

Ok ok, srry bout the rant, I should have kept it to myself. Ok Ill admit it I dont have a life and I probably never will, but things happen In life that forced me to be unable to camp or reserve a Wii.

sounds like a bunch of excuses to me. i got my wii on launch day but they pop up on online retailers every week or so since. you just need better resources..

I got my wii two weeks after launch. (yup limited supply) It's just that we didn't have camp outs like you americans. Just learn to pre-order in time.
