I'm assuming you won't be jumping up and down while surfin' the net with it, so you could get two AA dummies and a 3v power adapter to power it (unless it doesn't use 2 AAs, then you just need the correct voltage power adapter, 2 dummies will still work).

My dad bought a Windows Media Center with a 160 GB, 1 GB of ram, a 256 nVieda Graphics card, a 32 bit Intel processor, with a free upgrade to Vista premium plus. 419$ on clearance, no rebate.
