It's the obligatory "I don't care" vote. "I don't care but I like voting!" was too long to use without re-writing everything.

It exists for those who don't really care either way but want to see the results instead of a selection pane when they open the thread.

Nah, we've been voting on a handheld in-general forum from the beginning.

DS, PSP, GBA, GP2x, etc.

I doubt it. How many topics have appeared about handheld system mods recently, and how popular are they? Right here in Forum42 (where handheld topics are doomed to be placed for now) this very topic has spawned 4 pages of debate. There's also a 10 page topic on PSP custom firmwares and other things. If anything, the new section's at least worth an experimental run.

no a spam forums can be sold exclusively to people who need ads to fund their portable addiction!

Also, the portable forums sounds good since we clutter up F42 with all the portable stuff, also, the arcade fourms are really dare I say expensive, and those are always gonna be a temporary fling for some people, Handhelds are extremely mobile...wehy we make portables, and well you get it by now

Or is it just cuz a few people said no, its should happen because 50% says yes for a portable board.

Wait, whats the difference between "Yeah, we need one" and "Make an overall "portable system hacking" forum."?
I thought "yeah" meant an overall one, as discussed from the beginning, because if we had a GP2X forum, we would need a PSP forum, and a DS forum, etc., so an overall forum would be best.

a portable hacking board would be nice, but it has to be used!

I propose we give one a test run and after a month, if there is not a certain amount of activity, the mods can "go Gangsta" on it

Maybe, if we redid the poll right. If the option was there when I voted, I would have voted towards the general handheld console forum.

Most other would have too. The mods won't make a gp2x forum because there's already agp2x forum at the gp2x site, as well as lots of info at the gp2x wiki.

We should, however, make me a mod.

Just kidding,

we should have a test forum for general handhelds.

And make me a mod of it.
