How? Theres a PSP, DS, or GP2X topic at least twice a week. That number would likely increase if there was a specific place to talk about them.

A lot less people are into arcades, I guess they got it because they really don't fit anywhere else.

The arcade boards are cool and all, but they have nowhere near the draw that handhelds do; not to mention the fact that handheld gaming consoles are mainstream, readily available, and cheap, compared to arcade cabinets/motherboards. Honestly, how many people do you know with an MVS cabinet? And by the same token, how many own a GameBoy? Even in our own community, that analogy holds true. See what I mean?

EDIT: Could someone edit the title to say "Forum For Handhelds?" The discussion has shifted as such.

I'm doing a DS mod and it's getting swallowed by all the Wii and Xbox 360 laptop topics... I think an inherent portable section is in order for everything that is already a portable, but taken to the next step.

Good idea!

Either way, I think the results up to this point are quite overwhelming; we really should add one. I mean, honestly, what harm can come of it? It's just another place where we can all share our hobby.

I'm pretty sure Forum42 is the closest thing we need to a spam forum. A handheld systems forum, however, is an excellent idea.
