We like it here, and we already have handheld modders, EnterTheHatrix is redesigning his Ds's case, I'm doing som work on a few old gameboys and a DS Phat and I'm sure there are more portable fans round here. So please Ben, forumise this!

I agree, I have tried to join other forums, but none even compare to this one. Larger forums have dozens of n00bs joining each day and asking the same 3 questions. Smaller forums take 3 weeks to get a reply. This one is just perfect, but could use a handhelds section.
I really used to take the same stance as many of the mods do, as well as TT; there are other places to discuss already-made handhelds. But the more I think about it, the more I want to have a handheld-specific forum. I mean, this forum IS for Videogame Hacking, as stated in the title, and we've seen a fair share of existing portable mods come through here, and PLENTY of discussion on them. This forum, while built for portabliziation, is first and foremost a modding community. And why go somewhere else when benheck is already a great community with a lot of great members? So why not?
plenty of people here either mod commercially made handhelds or have interest to make consoles out of handhelds. there wouldnt be enough posts to have like a gameboy forum but to have one that covers all of them would be alright.
Anyways, to all you naysayers, I say "Why not?" I mean, we already have a plethora of handheld-related topics scattered throughout the forums, why not just make a unified place for our discussion/modding needs? There isn't anywhere that says this is a "portablizing" forum, or even a "console hacking" forum. The title is Videogame Hacking, and I think that if we have a large enough user support for this, we should hold our word to the title. Just my two-cents.

Yeah, some of the best members here have never even made a portable, like VB, me , I don't think bicostp has, and several others haven't. Its more of a modding forum, centered around the common purpose of portablizing.
