I don't know if I would exactly trust that. DarkFader has a mixed history. First he designed the first way to get DS homebrew then he makes a bricker for the DS, but then he makes a way to recover bricked DS's (ppflash)... so I'm not exactly sure how that CF cart works, since there is no way for it to load a menu it seems.gamemasterAS wrote:I want one, someone wanna build one for me ?EnterTheHatrix wrote:http://darkfader.net/ds/

If you really want a CF card for the GBA/DS, I reccomend either a SuperCard CF (I have one, it rocks SRAM for legal backups), or a GBA MP (also have one, it's good but doesn't have any SRAM, so legal backups = no).
As for pass through devices, I generally recommend a Datel Max Media Loader (the DS cart one, not the GBA one because of the lack of SRAM).

That's not the whole truth...vb_master wrote:I don't know if I would exactly trust that. DarkFader has a mixed history. DF made a channel called DSbricker or something and invited a load of people in there.. In advance he told them that the virus will brick DS's (as in, shows a picture of a brick wall, hence bricked).
Some sad people released it to the public, not DF, and his reputation was tarnished for it. The trojans were only for proof of concept. All flashed DS's were recoverable, and unflashed DS's were unrecoverable.
DarkFader has done more for the DS scene than anyone else, I 100% trust that information.

He released two brickers, one of the brickers had a hentai slideshow the other was a "ROMZ LOADER." He was sad after he released it because of this.EnterTheHatrix wrote:That's not the whole truth...vb_master wrote:I don't know if I would exactly trust that. DarkFader has a mixed history. But the people shouldn't of had to go through the trouble of using ppflash to recover it, so that is all I am saying.

I believe there are actually 3 brickers in total.vb_master wrote:He released two brickers, one of the brickers had a hentai slideshow the other was a "ROMZ LOADER." He was sad after he released it because of this.

Regardless, the first bricker was leaked to the public from the channel, which was crap.. The ROMZ LOADER was released on purpose as a joke to the warez kiddies who were stupid enough to try it.. So that's kind of their own fault really..
The third, I don't think it was released because of everything else that happened.

This should help with those tri-wings.Jongamer wrote:you said that the Tri-wing Screwdriver comes with the Replacment case? well since Im getting one dont forget to send it to me =) Its getting annoying trying to open tri-wing screws with a Exacto knife.
Huh? Did you see my instructions for using a small flathead to get them out? I think I've posted it there 2 or 3 times.Jongamer wrote:thanks for help, but exacto knife worked a lot better than any of those, and the Effects are not permenent like most of those are. Twi-wing screw driver would be a lot easier.
