I found Pooh first, but put it back since I didn't really have a use for it. After finding two more games (101 Dalmatians and The Lion King, I was on the hunt for the system. After quick search I found the system, with a Sonic Gameworld instruction book. Hoping that the game itself was not too far behind, I went on another search. After an extensive search through every Goodwill nook-and-carry, I decided to take a break to check out the condition of the inside of the Pico. Once I finally figured out how to open the damn thing, there was Sonic Gameworld, smiling happily in front of me from the inside of the system.

Lion King, 101 Dalmatians, and Pooh are all CIB with box and instructions, while Sonic Gameworld is just the game and instructions. I also found the instructions to Richard Scarry's Huckle and Lowly's Busiest Day Ever inside one of the other boxes.

Total Price? $5. I'm a little past the target age for this lol so it's got a date with eBay.

ever since I moved to new orleans from california thrift shops have been pretty dry or overpriced. Over the last month or so I did manage an untrasonic cleaner (why did I buy that?) and an old tamiya boomerang(?) RC buggy.

I've had some great thrift store finds over the years though. A low-end video projector, modded saturn, NIB Legend of Zelda, virtual boy rental unit, a couple Losi RC buggies, even a pachinko machine.

I recommend that thrift store fans avoid this area. I don't know if it was the storm/flooding or if it's just a depressed area where everybody picks thriftshops clean.

i picked up a thrustmaster fragmaster for 3$ today, its pretty neat but i need a usb to game port adapter to use it

well in spain we dont have thrift stores but we do have awesome markets ive gotten a nes with supermario btothers/duckhunt with 2 controllers for 5 euroes a bunch of games for 1 euro a piece i also got a megadrive for 4 euros tommorrow im going to go and try and get a master system

I recently was dragged to a thrift store by my wife, but to my suprise there has a complete NES...cords and all. Got it and Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr., two NES controllers, RF and power cables, and two SNES controllers for about $20. I call that a deal!

Ohh I found Yesterday, a Atari 800XL computer (for 3 buck), a PS1 (I needed another to give my Uncle Since I promised him Ide give him one for 5 bucks, which had 2 Regular Controllers came with it free.)

And a REALLY nice Pioneer Stereo System, the Only thing I have found bad with it so far, is the Speaker Input for the Rear Left Speaker is busted (no big deal) I just use the Rear Right with both Rear Speakers plugged into that, oh and the Fake Wooden look is peeling off really bad, also has an Awsomely accurate AM/FM tuneing Knob, and has 2 Audio Inputs So I can use em with my Video Games.

Woo and it was only 7 bucks.

What the hell, I have seen one of those at a local thrift store for the past 2 weeks. I thought the name was great.

I just picked up a Atari 2600, a system/game holder for it, and around 25 games. $22

Week or so ago I got a SNES ver.2, a NES, Tetris 2, SMB3, Dr.Mario for $12. The NES, Games, Power Adapter, and 2 controllers was inside the SNES box (pretty good condition too). And the SNES was on the outside taped to it. When i bought it i was wondering what the hell was inside it. To my suprise i got all the great NES stuff. That makes 4 NES's to my collection. This one is in the best shape though...

Ya Probably one of the Cleaner Goodwills, they tend to over price stuff at the Clean goodwills, the One Ive gotten most my stuff from is a Outlet Store, where they throw random things in Bins and wheel em out for you to dig through and grab whatever ya want from em (And some stuff you would never want Ive seen in there, like a Used Toilet Scrubber, Menstral Pad, I even found some Diabetics Insulin Needles and Stuff, Ive found a lot of Broken glass.)

But they put most Electronics on the Back wall, with like 3 Shelves Spanning half the Room (This is a Fairly BIG Goodwill) Top Shelves are TVs, Computer Monitors (Lots of em but no Good ones, I tried looking for the Atari Monitor but no luck) and Huge Stereo Speakers and Half of em are blown.

Middle Shelve, Lots of diffeerent things, This is mostly where I found my Game systems, they have More TVs on this shelve, Stereo systems (Where I got my Awsome Pioneer Stereo System) they have Printer, and Random COputer Joysticks, and Occasionally a really cruddy Computer that is normally stripped down for Parts, oh and random CD-rom drivess too.

Bottom Shelve (I hardly look at this shelve) a Random Joystick or 2 here, and a Literally a pile of Computer Scanners, and a Bunch of Crappy typewriters. (This is where I found my Atari Computer because I guess they thought it was a Type writer.

But today I went to a Cleaner Goodwill in the Town next to mine, and looked around, saw a TV they wanted 20 bucks for, said nope dont want it in my mind, and I went around to the Glass counter, looked in just saw a crappy Konami Plug and play with their Konami NES games on it, Thought about getting it until I looked Down Farther in the Glass case and Saw a N64, I thought they were gonna ask a fortune for it like my Local Trift store (They used to Sell game systems Cheap, then They got in a Complete n64 Green See through (which I was unable to get Unfortunatly) for 25 bucks, and now Every game system they get in they think they can get the Same, like they are trying to sell a PS1 Phat for 25 bucks, and a nearly Perfectly clean DReamcast for 30.

But Goodwill didnt ask a fortune for it, only 6 bucks with the Power cord and A/V cords, I have still yet to test it because I just got back from getting it

over this weekend i got an nes game (the rather rare quatro arcade) and a Discman D-33 i paid 4 for the game and 5 for the discman.

also if things go well i may have a job at goodwill soon! but knowing my luck they wont hire me

it would be cool cause i could see all the good stuff first! lol
