I got my replacement drive today and tore my old one apart to move the laser into the new one....
How can I put this. The damn thing has a philiphs head screw holding the laser on one track and a (I think) T-5 (torces) of the other. Why the hell did they change the screw type there?! This could end up taking a damn week to make this change.
One a lighter not if I can still use the old one for something, what do you think I could use it for. I was leaning towards mocking up the Dreamcast to use it or I guess I can hold on to it until later.

Well as odd as it is I got the torce off but now I have two micro phillip screws keeping me from removing the tracks.
If I'm lucky my dad will remember to grab his bits at work like he said.
