yep, I mostly chat with Metroid Prime Hunters, and the DS has pretty good quatlity voice chat, not scratchy, no breaks while talking, I find the Voice chat a lot better quality than Xboxs (Mabye 360 but its a close tie) If only you could chat during the game, and no friend codes it would top it over 360.

You either find somone online on forums or message boards that are willing to Share friend codes with you, or find a person or freind you know that has the game and exchange friend codes. and one of you guys host a freinds match, and in the Pregame lobby you can speak by pressing X, and release it to stop talking, and then the music lowers in volume so you can here you freind talk, or if ya dont wanna chat MPH also has Texting that you can do in the Pregame lobby, the only downside is there isnt any chatting during gameplay.
