If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
I'd have to say its hard not to look a gift horse in the mouth but they're selling it for a fourth of what they say it retails for. I cant help but think that there is something wrong with that picture. It does look like a very promising item to get though.

6.92cm? Thats tiny! And it looks like it has a digital interface, so forget about hooking it up to anything without an interface board. $20 seems about right for that, even if it is a TFT panel.
Well for its size, translate it to inches and that ~4.38" thats not really bad considering the Hip Screens, GBA and even the Nomand's are 3" and under.

It says it has a driving board and built in digital interface circuitry. I dont know though...it was retail at 88 dollars?
My math must really suck then, or memory as I did when I first saw the screen size. Anyways at 2.7" thats the same as the GBA.

I did not want to start a new topic so I decided to use one already existing to post this up in. I was browsing ebay a while ago (2min) and I found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 41573&rd=1
This is freaking sweet, it already has a small DVD drive (like a laptop it seems) and a TV tuner and loads of cool stuff!!!
What do you all think?
When in Japan with access to just about every system ever made and those that have yet to see international soil, gather your forces, and make the cool ones your own.
