Pocket PC boot question
Is there a way to configure a Pocket PC to automatically boot into a program when it starts up? I want to boot directly into MAME CE.
I forget where it is (may be a registry setting, as I couldn't find it just now,) but there is a setting to control how long after being powered off before it drops back to the Today screen. If you disable the drop back, you should be able to just turn off the PocketPC while running MAME CE (Careful of battery life, though, as the PPC will likely consume more power than usual when 'off'!) and come right back when you turn it on.
If you want it to run after a soft-reset, there is a startup directory under Windows that you can put a shortcut to MAME CE and have it start each time you reset your PPC.

Hi,
you can try Sktools and choose "Windows Startup" to add new program to bootup list.

But be very cautious: Sktools sometimes causes a serious problem to the pocket pc. Make sure you back up your ppc before using it.
