what is the Voltage for the Flourescent tube lighting in the GameGear?

why do you want to know?

try 9volts. most of the voltage goes in there.

The fluorescent tube is probably around a couple thousand volts if i remember correctly. AC voltage I reckon.

I find that hard to beleive in a Gamegear.

AC power is a bit different from dc. batteries are dc power, meaning direct current.
I truthfully dont understand it. ask timmeh87 or george westinghouse. ........oh wait.....he died years ago.......
AC can be thousands of volts, while at the same rate, can be 9 at dc.

yeah rekarp is right it uses an inverter like the psone screen thats why it sucks batteries
