Job help

Correct me if I'm wrong but the UP has a ton, an absolute ton of snow per square foot. You could shove snow, though be careful you don't want to hurt your back.

Again computers.
Build them
Fix them (soft/hardware)
Clean them

Sell Linux (it's legal)

That's all I can think of now. Oh and by the way if you do in fact live in the UP update your profile, it says you live in Indiana.

I would be if I didn't live so far away from the everything. Perhaps this fall I will start, assuming someone buys me a car!

Buy a dirt cheap one from good ol' ebay. Cars go on there sometimes for like Â£10 ($15), Offcourse there mostly piles of scrap metal but some may be ok-ish.

Well I don't live in the upper P. I live in upper michigan almost to the bridge. But still lower P. We did get a lot of snow and I was shoveling for a while but didn't work out to well. I was thinking about the computer thing and the ebay thing but still havent decieded! Thanks for you help.

BE A LIFEGUARD (at a small community pool)

I sit around and watch like 3 people and get paid $11 an hour! Plus I get breaks 15 mins of break for every 45 mins of work (which still all counts toward my paycheck!). So I watch for 45, play some Halo or whatever, then go back.

I also have a reception job at my church - only $8 an hour, but I do nearly nothing. Just answer the phone and the door, and I get to use their wireless internet and do as i please otherwise! (=

life is good.

First off, I live across the street from lake huron so no one is stupid enough to open a pool here

. Second even if there was a pool or a beach (that had lifeguards on duty) its february! Kind of cold to swim! Also my chuch doesn't hire 17 year olds for receptionists! thanks anyway though. I appriciate your advice.

Well, the old saying is so very true... "You need money to make money." If I had the money to build portables, I'm sure I could find people to sell them to. There's a stereotype about college students always being poor and eating Ramen... but I know I could sell a PS2 portable for a pretty penny if I posted some flyers at the college... I just know it...

Is it? I thought it was legal to sell a book about a distro and include it, I thought it was even legal to sell services for it, but is it legal to sell?

I guess if it's all gpl or owned by you you can sell it. Why gpl allows sales is beyond me. I imagine the popular distros have proprietary bits though.
