Doom3 for the XBOX was a ripoff...

OK, first of all, this is kinda not technical to the XBOX, so I'm putting this in Forum Fourty-Two.

So I go to Toys R Us for my monthly sale seek...and I see Doom 3 Collector's Edition for 5 bucks. Last time I bought it, I just gave it as a gift, and I thought, WTF? So I play it, keep in mind I never have played the PC version, although I know the final boss is CYBERDEMON! So I'm all pumped up, and the 'last level' comes. Some horned creature just to defeat. I'm done and think, "OK, WTF is cyberdemon?"...and the credits! :-O! I am rather annoyed, but like, was there a warning or something that the XBOX port of the game was stripped of some levels, or what?

dude, that game sucks. I cant believe im actually saying this about a doom game but wtf it does. hey, atleast you can play the original DOOM's on it, and watch the doom movie

but seriously, ID isnt as cool after quake 4 and doom 3 (AND IT WAS MADE RIGHT HERE IN MADISON!!!). I heard the expansion pack was pretty good though... and how long did it take you to beat that game btw?

Played it non-stop for about seven hours on Saturday...btw, it was Saturday.

Don't know, but seriously, I did play Doom 3 again at my friend's house, and at the end there was the big badass demon of cyberness, and seriously, what the flying fig is up with the final boss of the XBOX port?

the xbox version probably looks like crap considering they had to make the game run on a system that is like half the required specs of the pc version lolh

That is strange. Last time I heard the Xbox port was identical in terms of levels. The graphics I've seen aren't too bad. On a standard def tv you probably wouldn't notice the difference.

I've played on both the PC and the xbox version. The PC is by far better. You can mod it to use a gun and a flashlight at the same time!

Any who, I don't know what you're talking about. The xbox version has CYBERDEMON.

I've played the XBOX version... and it owns. Bear in mind i've never got to the last level so I don't know if the last boss is Cyberdemon or not, I have the Doom3 expansion too (PC & XBOX, despite not having Doom3 for PC LOL), but never really got round to playing that, gonna complete Doom3 first... does Doom3 on XBOX have Cyberdemon?
