altoids tetris death

Post by Dark Lord »

my good friend was killed when i was cleaning my desk and he fell off of it and the LCD shattered

so i decided to give him the burial he deserved
Right in the trash can :!:

it was all wired up and no i am going to have to desolder the whole thing
so now what am i going to put in that altoids can? I was at first thinking of putting a two way radio in it but than i found a cheap game in my junk pile that was similar to space invaders. only this one is much easier with only three levels which takes 2 minutes to beat. i will be placing this game in one altoid tin and a car game in an altoids gum tin, mine will be different than G-force's because i plan on having to open the altoid tins to play and not have the controls and screen on the back.

Once these are done and sold to the kids at school i will start on my next(and first true portable) project either a psonep or a n64p and when it is finished it will hopefully be the best.

I've put a radio in an Altoids tin, nothing too original. :P

If you have the money, build a MintyMP3 (ladyada.net).

 The altoid games are just crappy, they keep on breaking the lcd is just barely working and nomatter how careful i am they break or the pcb is actually broke before i take it apart. I wont spend 50 cents on those again.

skyone i am actually placing a two-way radio inside it which will be pretty coolwhen completed only problem is that the antenna will stick out from the tin but that is something we'll have to live with.
I'll post some pics as soon as i can get done with my homework (and take my green belt test in Combat Hapkido) this is a busy couple weeks for me but you can expect to something pretty cool when it is complete/even if it is a simple build and Kurt_ the altoids are in my stomach
