Well I think Jongamer has, and hasn't got a point...
We are coming out of an ice age, and things are getting hotter naturally because the earth is naturally getting hotter as it meets it's average temperature.
We've only been recording temperature since the 60's, and they've noted the changes since then have gone up, and blamed global warming, but this kind of thing could have been occuring for centuries.. That's not to say that we're not accelerating the rate ourselves.. Earth is forever changing, with or without our help, and it always has done.
Anyway, snowmen!
The morning after, and he's still in one piece, still has his hat, but has build up an extra layer of snow.. I half expected someone to have kicked his head off by now.
The duck is too far up the garden, someone could get a bit cautious about kicking that to death in it's close proximity to the house.

Sorry.Gamelver wrote:Guys, if you want to start a global warming discussion, please start a new thread (though I'm STRONGLY advising against it....it invokes flaming and politics, both of which are not allowed here). Remember, this is a snowman thread

Anyways, we've gotten about a foot or so in the past coulple of day here in Vermont. It's stayed, too, because it's been around 0F most of the week. Ski areas are happy and dancing about. It is all powder, though. The ultimate non-snowman building snow.
