What are the best homebrew programs for the Dreamcast? anything useful or fun? also any good emulators? (I have FrNes and FamiCast. FamiCast is SLOW!!!)

May I suggest NesterDC SE... I hear it's pretty good. :wink:

Also go to http://www.dreamcast-scene.com/ they have a ton of homebrew stuff and emulators.

I would suggest going with the Dreamcast build made by NetBSD. Sega actually offered information to the NetBSD programs so it's far more stable, functional and there is a ton of information in the mailing list you can read about.

I tried NESterDC SE, and it didn't burn Megaman 2 or Zelda 2 on the disc! did the Rom have to have II instead of 2 in it's file name or something!?!?

Well dreamsnes is very good but I don't know if you wanted to know that (btw I got a dreamcast yesterday and I love the homebrew already).

Oh, I know. But like all DC SNES emulators I've tried, I can't get Kirby or Tetris/Dr. Mario to run fullspeed.
