Hey, I have a video project coming up soon and I would like to have a better video camera than what i have to work on it. Anything that isn't VHS and Huge. Preferably Hi-8 but I'm problebly asking too much. It must have a battery and a charging cable, also it must work on ether power source.
Please help a guy out! I also would like to use this camera to tape some stuff on my senior trip.
Places like walmart usually sell cheap solid-state UMS digicams that take video+audio recordings, most have dinky memory (64 - 128 Megs), but Amazon has the cheap 1GB SD cards they usually take ($15 or so +shipping). For that matter Amazon has the cheap digicams too, save on shipping and all that.
I have a Canon ZR85 that records to MiniDV and comes with all the original paperwork, charger, battery, etc. You can record videos and take pictures onto an SD card too. This unit was just replaced by Canon because it had a faulty CCD sensor. Works great now.
