Is there a way to take the rumble out've a Cube controller?
I have a Madcatz Microcon controller that I never use, so I want to do something with it. My current plan is to just simply put it in a smaller case, since I've never actually done any modding, plus the Cube controllers are very bulky.
Since I'm trying for small as possible, would it be easy to remove the rumble completely, without causing errors?

Well one of the bulk problems isn't just the large rumble motor. The holster it's in is multi functioning.. It also supports the shoulder button switches.
You're going to have to dremel the bulk of the plastic holster off if you want to resize..
Of course, you could get the pinout for the controller IC and build your own board... a crapload of work, but you could probably make it really small, and include an LED in place of the rumble motor.. Shine instead of rumble.
