+5v from n64 to psos 12th pin on slot1?

Bad idea? Good Idea? The 12th pin is already connected to the 7805 on the psos, but it isnt powering up after inserting 7.2 and gnd from battery. It is led modded and was bought from khagg. Minor solder spill on back. Umm....Help!

yah thats the one I am talking about. My screen blew its fuse and vit acted like your screen. I can't think of a reason why my fuse went...it just decided to go one day

Ok, but wouldn't it be better to bridge it with a paperclip first to know if that is the problem?

And for the last time, Do I need to send 5v from my n64 to the screen? Even though it is already put on the 5v thingy on the back?

+5V from ANYTHING to pin 12 is for some screens (Mostly PAL, I think) that experience power shutting off after a short period of time. You should NOT remove the fuse, as it could still be good.

Are your grounds connected?

Ahh. So no remove fuse, but instead bridge....No 5v to pin 12 either?

@ Khagg if I send 7.2 to pin one and ground to pin 2, leds should come on?

yes they should light up. If the fuse is bust then they will not light up
