The replacement straps come in very quick....

If you mean that they took a while to make the replacements available I order mine mid December and received it within 4 weeks. Not long for mass mailing in my opinion.

Regards and Good Job Nintendo

I never sent out an order for replacement straps. I still have yet to have my original one to break. If the straps can't break after my friend and I had a few....sodas....then I don't think they will ever break.

my friend got her replacement straps and we 'tested' one of the original ones to see what its breaking point was.

and i assure you, it takes exactly how much force you'd expect it to: a heck of lot. maybe 30 pounds or more. the weak point isnt even the string, the knot just came undone.

so i feel confident enough that using the other original wii strap for my mp3 player. it is pimp 8)

I strapped my Wii strap to a little metal part on a bench and pulled until it broke, takes a bit of force. Dunno who puts that much in while playing wii.

Yep, I was excited to see I finally got a message from Nintendo about them. At least they're doing something.

What knot? Don't you loop it through?

well. theres a little plastic bit with a loop of thin white string coming out of it. im assuming its knotted together and then threaded through a hole, so that you cant pull it though cause of the knot. that or its just poorly glued in there or something. but the point is, the string didnt break, it just came apart.
