Anyone here race those Xmods cars from RadioShack? I've got a generation 1 that I'm planning on tearing apart and rebuilding it, and i'm going to buy a carbon fiber sheet and cut myself a chasie.
Also, anyone like to mod them?
Xmods RC anyone?

I have 6 cars and 1 of the evo trucks and like every kit made for them.
Camaro - only one I payed full price for $50
F150 - a RS was closing so I got a complete set up for $90
NSX - $20 had a smashed case, I used a 4x4 kit and made it front wheel drive but haven't tested it out yet
the rest I got in a junk box for $20
350Z - I have 2 bodies 1 chasis
04 Mustang
Corvette
Skyline
and countless parts
I think I will be using 2 of them to bulid a robot for science olympiad but I would like to try some mods on them.
I know Reaperman@home did mess with them.

No, I prefer actual RC cars. I have a Team Losi XXX-T and a Tamiya TT01. Both of which are sort of... in need of repairs. The XXX-T needs a new speed controller because I ran it through a puddle. Any one know how to fix it?

If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.
i have a gen 1 Acura RSX with all upgrades and 6 cells but in need of repairs.
If you are in to small rc's this is as good as it gets www.teamlosi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB0230

I'm mostly into 1/10 these days, but xmods got me into the hobby. I couldn't resist when my RS went out of business--I got an evo and every possible RS upgrade I could think of, for a bit over $50. it's my favorite 1/28 car, I like it more than my mini-z or my iwavers mainly because it's otherwise annoying fiddley bits are great fun to work on at the office. huge improvement over my gen1 xmods, even if evo is a heavy tub.

as for my other xmods, I keep finding gen1's at the thrift store, there's quite a number of them around here.
