I was wondering, is it (at all) possible to LED mod a Gamegear LCD?
I am wanting to build myself a Gamegear using mix-and-match... The Majesco screen and speaker are better than the original Sega version. And the Sega board has better game compatibility. So I was wondering if it's at all possible to do an LED mod to increase battery life.

why? the majesco is not exactly a great step higher, and unless you have one lying around they would probably be more of a hassle than just hooking up a psone lcd with LEDs and making a new case...infact if you want the hipgear screen supports RGB and you could again vist segasonicfans site and learn about that...
There would probably be the better option since the size isn't too radically differant and you may even get in the case without some extreme mods...

So wait... A Gamegear outputting RGB I get that that is possible... But straight to a Hipgear screen? That'd liven up my Gamegear tenfold if I could do such a mod....Especially since I use the MasterGear to play SMS titles.
