nes controller problems

ok i bought a real nes controller and plugged it in and all but nothing works right i can move with the dpad and if i push b it acts as if everything is pushed at once and this isnt the first time either the last ne controller i bought did the same thing

Well if both the controllers did it, it sounds like a nes problem. Are they any lose solder joints on the motherboard. Do the controller ports wobble?

well i have a quickshot that works perfectly and a 2 nes's one which has "passed away" *cough*dripped solder all over it thus frying the board X1000 *cough* *cough*
