Just use the default phpBB theme I have used it for like 3 years and I don't really want anything else.

Why can't we have variation? You can choose your theme.

Some forums force a theme (and in that case, you can't change it).

setting it to default is forcing it. If you're logged out, it goes to default. I'd say that's forced.

But when you're logged on... you can set it. You can also throw in a hack that lets you set the theme without being logged in.

I purge my cookies when I close my browser, both for security and to keep my cookies clean from junk.

How about an IP range check? Unless you use a dynamic proxy, that won't be a problem.

Besides, there is that little " Log me on automatically each visit" checkbox that automatically logs you in on your initial visit and after the session expires, so you won't even see the new style anyways.

I was thinking we could add a "censored word" as :zing: and make it replace it as BBCode. But seriously, It's been months, let's get going on the smilies, eh?

I wasn't the person moaning about it forcing a theme moron.. How about you read before you post, that way you don't look like such an idiot.

I couldn't care less if it forces a theme or not.
