Possible way of getting WIFI on the Gameboy Micro/Other GB's

Alrighty, I have read articles on the internet about how i cannot get WIFI on my Micro. But I found two things today that may make this possible.

#1 SD movie player for the GB micro.

#2 An WIFI SD card / Google's List of WIFI SD's

So with that knowledge what exactly would need to be done to have WIFI on my micro.

*I would really like to browse the internet with it. And listen to audio files / movie that are stored on my PC through WIFI.

The SD slot needs to support SDIO, which it most likely doesn't. You would also need to write a ton of software for it to run. And that screen is way too small for internet.
I say if you want internet on a handheld device that bad, you sell the Micro, get a PSP and a 2GB Memory Stick, and use that. Then you have a screen bigger than a stamp, and you can emulate the GBA games on the PSP.

Um my micro's screen is big as at least 2 1/2 stamps. Is that all the info that you know about. I would really like to know.

Oh and its not too small if you had a zoom in/out feature. Maybe using the left/right buttons on the top of the micro.

The GBA Movie player does not support SDIO, so it definitely would not work, even on the rare occasion that you wrote software for it.

so with what you just said is there any way possible to get WIFI on the GBM or GBA. Even if someone has to make some programs?

It's probably possible, but it would amount to more or less the same cost of a couple PSP's, plus the long hours of programming. If you can run linux on it (which I think you can), you can probably hook it up to the serial port to a computer and you might be able to get something going over that. Then maybe you can connect a bluetooth module. That's about as far as it goes though.

My advice: buy a PSP, or a PDA.

Ok so this serial thing. Can you give me a site or two and direct me into the right place for putting linux on my GBM? I have searched google and its been a big fat negative.

Just get something that was meant to use wireless, this is an almost impossible project that will surely have disappointing results.

If not, you should probably tackle these things first.

yepper, I just found this link on google.

but i found something that seems to be the manufacturs site but it give me a 404 error. let me go to the wayback machine realquick.
