I tired this earlier, but get the message "not a valid Windows CE application"

Make sure you download the arm .cab files, as the J720 uses a StrongARM processor, not a MIPS. Also, try downloading it from here. I had a problem when I set up my friend's NEC MP790, and as soon as I switched download sources, it worked fine.

EDIT: Also, if you have any questions about anything HPC, check out the forums at www.hpcfactor.com . Those guys know just about everything there is to know about HPCs and WindowsCE devices in general.
