I don't know if any of you have noticed, but when I accidently Blow the GC power Brick by Touching the + pin to - pin, of course it blows and doesnt work, but for some odd reason I thought it was completly dead because it was'nt giving the GC any Power, I let the Power Brick sit Unplugged for a couple hours and then I plug it back in and Works again, This happened with all 3 Of My GC Power bricks and they seem to always Fix themselves.
Is this werid or just something that is common with Electrical Components.

I'm not sure if this is exactly how the nintendo power supplies work, but they might use something called a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) thermistor. It's a device that increases resistance as more current flows through it. It starts out at like less than 10ohms at normal current ratings, but if it's short circuited and lots of current flows, the resistance will quicky increase to like over 100kohms, reducing the current to almost nothing. After they cool off the resistance returns to normal and everythign works again. It may be more sophisticated than that in the nintendo supplies, but that's one easy way to do what they do...
