less than 800?.....
all they have is 320x240 pixels, and it comes bundeled with a problem-
I click ok to the setting, and nothing happens.....
I'm gonna give photobucket a shot, and if that doesn't work, then i'll come back.

MUHAWHAWHAWHAW........
I successfully signed into to photobucket and made up an account.
I took a picture of the fried power supply I got from the computer.
GUESS WHAT PEOPLES? most of the parts are SALVAGABLE. there are some really rare parts on here that I may just sell in the trading post. THIS INCLUDES SWITCHING REGULATORS! (i think they are...)
the only downside of this pic is that I don't think I can have A thumbnail like I always used to...
thnks everyone...

yes you can have thumbnails. I just did this in 5 seconds with MS Paint (which you DEFINITELY have):

<img src="http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/4053 ... icsfg7.png">

Make it a clickable thumbnail using code like this:

Code: Select all

HTML:
<a href="http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u120/Retromaster93/console%20hacking%20and%20electronics/DSC00895.jpg"> <img src="http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/4053/resizeyourdamnpicsfg7.png"></a>
It would be even smaller as a JPEG. (This is a PNG)

By the way, none of those parts look "rare". (Unless "rare" means "I can't find them at Radio Shack", in which case speakers are rare.)

PPLLLEEEASSSEEE NNOOTTEEE that this will look MUCH diferent from the finished product. far from it. It'll be cooler though. once my supplies arive I can maybe make a video of me building it, which would be cool, and just post the making of. JUST watch peoples....watch until I build a laptop in front of your very eyes! muhawhawhawhaw!!

EDIT- I know what you're thinking. why all the wasted sapce? for controllers games and accessories, of course!

you can find none at rat shack, except for maybe some resistors and stuff, but those switching regulators are rare people! and where else will you get a micro transformer unit? I'm kinda hesitnat to sell this as my first sale, because, I'll have to make a lot of shipping.

I HAVE MS PAINT....?.....are you phsychic?....lemme check......hmmm....can't find it in programs but I remember seeing it there a while back.....HOW DID YOU KNOW? does everyone have paint?

Ok, retro, I don't absolutely hate you, or hate you in any way really, but I can't help but see a lot of 'unintelligent' things you're doing. I thank you for the Intec Screen links, but a lot of your posts have been well...crap. Anyway, looks good and simple, but rather bulky, but it's all you. Also, DON'T salvage parts from that PC power supply. I seriously don't want you to die by any chance, so don't risk it salvaging parts from a Computer PSU. Seriously, especially that BIG capacitator, it may still have some AC kick in it which will more than likely jump your heart. Just word to the wise, and get some better parts, or if you are PRO as you say you are, discharge it COMPLETELY and then salvage parts. Death is no good...mmkay?

Also, RARE components? Come on, you gotta be kidding me. Just suck it up, spend some cash and go to ratShack and make a BETTER whatever it is you're trying to make.

YESSS...RARE components.....they CAN NOT be found at a local place.....
i've never seen switching regulators at rat shack,.......
and what post of mine lately is bad? I know about forum 42. I was tired of vs kid and kurt insulting, so if they do it again, they will PAY!

EDIT: gee I wonder what happens when I touch my finger HEREERWEREEEEERRERZZZZZAAAPPFSSDDRTFFVGRGRGGB
