Choosing a screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Choosing a screen

Post by kaoru117 »

Well, I've been trying to find a 5 inch LCD off ebay and I'd like to just clarify that these two have the required inputs for a Gamecube. See, I think these all do, but for safeties sake, I'll leave it up to the more experienced.

First: <a href=http://cgi.ebay.com/DYNEX-PORTABLE-DVD- ... 07>Here</a>

I have some problems with this as I can't find much about it online.

Second:
<a href=http://cgi.ebay.com/5-INCH-LCD-PORTABLE ... 54>Here</a>

Third:
<a href=http://cgi.ebay.com/AUDIOVOX-5-LCD-ADD- ... 31>Here</a>

I think this monitor has been mentioned on the board before, so it will probably be what I choose.

Thanks.

It looks like number two should work, the third might, and the first is iffy.

It depends, some will work without, some won't. The one I have will, but its a few years old.
