Regarding Ben's latest single-handed x360 controller...
Was anyone else a bit moved by the paragraph about "just wanting to gain back a part of life most of us take for granted"? It's not something that usually comes to my mind when I think video games, but that statement got to me for some reason.

Is some kind of kit and instructions possible, so there could be like a donation program so us newbies can do something to help or something...
I don't know, that sounds cheesy. But it is what came to mind. If it isn't too hard I'm sure quite a few of us could make those if we had the parts and instructions...
How hard would it be to make a kit and instructions? Until MadKatz picks it up at least...

the hard part has already been done:SpongeBuell wrote:I'm guessing that would be a lot harder to build. Plus, you'd have to keep it really level the whole time when you want it centered.

it seems like it would be fairly easy to incorporate.

I must say both of ben's one handed controller rigs are indeed very, very impressive.
I actually think there would be a larger market for these things than might be believed. There was actually a similar controller made for the SNES that was marketed to RPG players (the idea being that you would want the other hand to make maps/notes).
