So I just connect where it says 5V to where the 5V comes off of the rugulator? OKay I think I get it.

I'm not sure, it looks like it's an older BTJ based op-amp, which means that the minimum supply voltage is about 10-12v, rather than the 5v you need. Look for something that's JFET or CMOS based, they'll run off 5v.

I built the battery indicator, but the light doesn't come on. Also I noticed that the screens light seemed to die first. Does anybody know what voltage the screens light dies at? So I think I need this thing to turn on at 7.4V.
