OK, two questions.

1. There are three pins on the stock NES power jack. I didn't plan on using it so I wasn't really paying attention when I removed it from the RF box. Can someone identify which pin is which (power/ground)? One comes out the back and points down, one comes out the side and points down, and the third one is coming directly from the inside, again pointing down.

2. Am I really leaving the power and reset pins on the NES mobo empty? That's the impression I'm getting from the book. I've got the regulator output going to +5v on the NES mobo (pin #3), but it seems weird that the power and reset pins aren't needed.

Lemme guess, too dumb of a question?

Here's a pic of the stock NES jack in question. I don't have a DMM to test this, which means I'll probably be in trouble if it comes time to troubleshoot.

I'm guessing the center pin is positive, so I need to wire that to the 'unregulated in' on the 7805 regulator. Can anyone tell me which of the other two pins I need to wire to ground on the NES board, and do I need to do anything with the third pin?

Also, the 'power' and 'reset' pins on the NES board are to be left alone, correct?

Although I don't know for sure, more likely than not. Check the diagrams.
