Ok I dont know what the Hell is happening to my Old Packard bell computer (My little bros computer)200 MHZ Prcessor (Pethetic I know, its about 10 years or more old.) And All I was trying to do is Install a Extra HDD to the System, and now for some reason (I didnt move any IDE cables or nothing from the Original HDD that had the OS)
All I did was remove the CD-Rom drive, and now when I try to boot the COmputer (Even with the New HDD not connected) It finds the HDD but when Loading the OS when it was booting up, it gave me a message.
"Insert Bootable Media into a appropriate Drive"
and I tried makeing a MS DOS Boot disc and I put it in and I get I/O Error, So I checked the Cables from the Floppy drive, and nothing is wrong. Now my freaking brother is upset that his Computer is messed up.
Little Help plz?
Insert bootable Media In appropriate drive message

BIOS problem. clearing CMOS (either by pulling the CMOS jumper or taking out the coin battery) should fix the problem.

Double-check the jumpers. Weird stuff happens when you have two Master or two Slave drives on the same IDE channel.
